Our Review of the Ultimate Playland Play Tent

Kids have lots of energy – this is a fact. They can last running and playing all day long and they never seem to get tired of it. This is why rainy days are quite a problem for families with little kids. I have kids myself, and they always bug me for “fun” things to do when they can’t go out in the backyard.

Lucky me, I found a solution to my problem (both mine and my kids, actually) – the Ultimate Playland Play Tent.

This play tent is not the like any other play tent. Instead of being a single structure, you can actually connect them together to create a mega city for your child where they can pop in, crawl and have hours of fun playing. Aside from the different structures included in the package, it also comes with soccer balls, golf balls and 50 magic balls which you can fill the ball pit with. I’m sure every child would love this!

As a parent, I love the fact that this is very easy to store. We live in an apartment and don’t have a very big space. I can simply twist and fold the structures; put them in the bag they came with and keep it under the couch or under the bed. The twist N fold technology is so easy to do that my kids can do it. Now, I don’t get any protests when I ask them to pick up after their toys.

Great as this product is though, there are a few things that it can certainly improve on. First, I find that the structures lose its shape after quite some time. I know that the wires use to support it shouldn’t be that strong in order for the twist N fold technology to work, but the company really needs to take a look at this.

There are also some people who didn’t receive the golf balls that supposed to come with the play tent. Although this has nothing to do with the quality of the play tent, it says a lot about the company’s quality control.

Overall, I’d still recommend this play tent to parents. Playing on it is a great way for kids to let all those energy out, and the obstacle course the play tent represents is good way to develop their skills.

My four year old and three year old have lots of energy and though I would love to get them to the park every day, it just can’t happen particularly through Colorado winters. We used to bring this toy out on sunny days and let all the neighborhood kids play in and around it. It made for hours of fun and the kids who played in ranged in ages from preschool through grade school, and all of them had a blast. It’s pretty durable, though I wouldn’t play with it on concrete, grass works best, and it is a great rainy day toy as well, because you can configure it in such a way that it will fit in your living room with out taking it over. I would buy this toy again in a minute! It is fantastic.
